Jay,
I LOVED Hoagie Dip. Is it totally a past thing for you, or would you do it online?
cheers,
Allison
Jay,
I just saw your Farrah/Michael pinup on the cover of this week’s Stranger here in Seattle.
Brilliant. I do hope you will be selling posters, because what teen wouldn’t want that hanging up in their room? I know I do.
Cheers, Mark
Jay, forgot to get your e-mail though I figure it’s prolly something sensible like your name @……….
Anyway, thought I would let you know, I can help you with business if that is something you are looking for. I have gallery representation and internationally-ranked exhibitions all over the continental US, however, I feel you would not fit in these shows. I can however drive more traffic to your own site through my own site which generates over 8,000 hits a day. If you would like to speak more about this option, call me when you get a chance to breathe and I’ll be glad to explain in greater detail, if not, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Nice work by the way, my aunt sketched a family portrait in the same manner that you create works and I think it’s pretty cool.
Jay! Great to see all of your amazing work!!
Have a question for you…… can you contact me, would be great to catch up anyway.

Jay –
I’m looking forward to working with you in the fall. I’m sorry that I’ve not been in touch – the end of the year craziness and then family issues that I had to attend to immediately afterwards.
I usually start thinking about new projects about now and what I want to do differently the next year. We have the 9th graders and their introductory curriculum, the 10th graders and then the 11th / 12th graders combined. We can focus on your strengths and specialties (which are amazing) and also try some things that may be different for you.
I want to tweak the basic curriculum and email it to you later on in the week. The curriculum is basic and allows for many options and interpretations. I try to change the projects every year but I’m getting to the point where repeating a project does not seem quite like a cardinal sin.
I have a web site that I need to update (I will let you know soon). I am currently exploring fine art and abstract painting after focusing on illustration for a number of years.
If you have any ideas, let me know. It will be a couple of weeks before I really want to think too seriously about the fall because of the need to decompress, work on my own stuff and attend to some pressing issues here at home.
Feel free to email me. Your work is very inspiring and I know that the students here will find working with you rewarding – I’m sure that you will feel the same about working with them as well.
